Chapter 137

Jacob found Mia helping some ladies out of the rain while she held Lux in her cage tightly.

“Ever helping” Jacob commented as he walked towards her 

Mia turned around as she smiled recognising Jacob.

“A girl has to help her sisters” Mia stated

“Well that is right, I do not argue with that” Jacob stated

“Anyways, I need to steal you in a moment,” Jacob said.

Mia nodded as Jacob pulled her away towards the corridor.

“I spoke with your father,” Jacob said as they made their way towards her room.

“I am sure he is excited and happy with the decision,” Mia said.

“I won't put it that way exactly. He is sure glad but I could see the sadness lingering in his eyes too” Jacob stated.

Mia paused as they stood in front of her door, she stared at him while he returned the gaze. Taking a deep breath she pushed the door open before pulling him inside.

“What do you mean by my father was sad?” Mia asked as she dropped Lux safely on a tab
