Chapter 80

"What happened?" Emily asks again, this time with a lower tone. "She was everything to me and I have not spoken about her to anyone since that day. I could not being myself to do so. It felt like I had finally decided to let her go. I did not want to let her go. She uhm… she died and I did not know what I could do with myself anymore. I lost it but I picked up the bits of myself and returned to work." Lewis says this and soon he begins to cry silently. 

Emily taps his back slightly and is confused on how to console him. She is bad at this. "I am lost on how to console people, don't cry please. I am sorry, you want to drink some more champagne?" Her question makes him laugh because she is so clueless at how to console him so he cries and laughs at once. He releases all the pain while Emily sits patting her hand at his back. "Thank you, Emily. Thank you so much, you have helped me do something no one could."
