Chapter 13. The Immortals

In the whole of Silverwood, there are a group called the immortals. Usually unnamed and had nothing to do with the rest of the world. They hardly meddled in affairs of mortals, wolves and witches. All they did was tame the earth, grow trees, live gracefully while using their powers to better the ecosystem. They were very few in number and very rare to come across with was good. Their powers surpassed that of the witches and wolves but tend to use it for purify the land of Silverwood and beyond. They were not to be played with, so it was a good thing that they were the way they were.

They never involved themselves in anything, but once did. That was when they noticed Ethan. Due to the beauty these group carried, Ethan captured one of their own and did whatever he like with her. The infuriated her friends, they came forward to challenge Ethan, several of them, but Ethan held the upper hand, killing some and gravely injuring the rest.
