Chapter 15. Is This a Date?

That night, Amara had just exited her house when the sound of the car horn blasted into her ears. On the sidewalk was Ethan in his flashy black car. Unfortunately, Sarah saw this and screamed.

“I knew it, I knew it,” she called, “you are both going out.”

“It’s just a business dinner, nothing more,” Amara chided pushing Sarah back into the house. Although she said this, deep down she had developed a soft spot for Ethan after all he had done for her. Plus he was indeed handsome and had features that made one unable to take their eyes off. She walked forward and entered the car. Ethan was beside her, he dressed casually, almost like he had just taken anything to wear then. While Amara wore a blue slim dress, showing off her curves. Ethan looked at her for a while, then looked away not wanting to entertain any thoughts. They were partners anyway and he had a mission.

“You look beautiful,” he said, his voice warm and calm.
