I walked into the cafe, looking around and noticing couples sitting at different tables. My eyes found Rahul, who waved me over. I approached him, and he kindly pulled a chair out for me. I sat down, feeling a bit uneasy, while he took a seat across from me.

"Can I get you something to drink or eat?" he asked.

I hesitated, feeling uncomfortable. "Actually, I don't need anything. I have to leave soon."

"Don't be a party pooper. Come on, tell me," he insisted, knowing I might not want to. With a sigh, I gave in. "I'll have a coffee."

He nodded, and a waiter appeared quickly to take our order. While we waited, Rahul turned his attention back to me. "So, how's life?"

"Good," I replied, trying to keep the conversation light. "Is your husband away on a business trip in America?"

"Yes," I confirmed. "He's working in America
