Chapter 155. Caught in the Rain

I looked through the curtains, hoping to see his car, but he wasn't there. I felt relieved and went to check on Kalix, who was still fast asleep. It was nighttime, and Cassian had been sitting in his car all day. I kept Kalix inside, avoiding going outside myself. I didn't want to face him.
