Epilogue I
Four years later, in a fancy penthouse in Canada, a woman was busy in the kitchen making breakfast for her family.
"Kalix! Wake up, my dear!" she called out. While she put butter on a piece of toast, she heard footsteps approaching.
"Good morning, Mom!" greeted her 7-year-old son, Kalix, rubbing his eyes sleepily. "You're already awake?" she asked, surprised. Kalix hardly woke up on time unless she went into his room and woke him up, especially on holidays.
"Of course, Mom! My little princess was full of energy this morning, so she woke me up. It's her birthday, after all," he explained, taking a seat at the kitchen counter. She shook her head and smiled, knowing her daughter and what she might be up to.
In the same penthouse, upstairs in a bedroom, a man was fast asleep on a big, comfortable bed. A little girl quietly entered the room and climbed onto the bed. Seeing her dad still asleep, she scolded herse
