Chapter 89. Date Night II
We went to a fancy restaurant and sat at a private table, waiting for our food. We glanced at each other, breaking the awkward silence.
"How's college?" he asked, trying to ease the tension. "It's going well," I replied softly. "Oh man, this is so awkward," he groaned. "And please, call me Mr. Sinclair."
"Mr. Sinclair, did you seal the deal?" I quickly changed my wording, following his preference to not use his first name. He looked at me for a moment before answering, "Yes, I actually did."
I nodded, and he ran his hand through his hair, looking really attractive. 'Stop staring!' I scolded myself silently. But I couldn't help but admire this extremely good-looking man who also happened to be my husband.
Our food came, and we enjoyed our meal before leaving the restaurant.
