Chapter 20. Teach You A Lesson

“Why are you silent?”

The question made Natalie swallow. Her heart told her to turn around and face Beverley. She wanted to apologize, but her brain sensibly forbade it.

In the past, she had already wronged Beverley a lot. She did not want to cause her any more trouble. Not knowing each other was the best way for them.

“Sorry, we don’t know each other. Don’t bother me,” Natalie said flatly.

Beverley frowned. “Then why are you avoiding me?”

“You must have recognized the wrong person,” she said expressionlessly. She was about to walk away, but Beverley held her back.
