“Isn’t rattan usually used for handicrafts and furniture?” Edmund asked while they were walking.
Sky nodded vigorously.
“Yes! Rattan is used to make chairs, tables, shelves, and many other things because it’s flexible and strong. I heard it’s cheaper than wood, lighter, and grows faster. People should use rattan instead of cutting down more trees.”
Edmund smiled at her explanation.
“You’re very smart, Sky. I learned a lot from you. But is it true that rattan can be eaten? You’re not secretly planning to poison me, right?”
