Chapter 33. Mysterious Dream

Dominus' POV

Grandma and I had exchanged a look that was filled with meaning during dinner. The others might not have gotten what she meant but I did. 

I could only hope that whatever secret mum was holding unto was not going to break our family into pieces. 

I had gone to pack my things and inform my parents about my intention to help my friends but I got a shocker. My parents were fighting!

Throughout my growing years it had never happened. I knew they fought but not like that. 

'I don't want to talk about anything,' mum had shouted at dad.

'I told you to do away with it but you wouldn't listen. Now see what you have brought upon us?' Dad shouted right back.

'I told you then and I am still insisting that I will never ever take an innocent life,' mum said with anger in her voice. 

'Now that the secret is about to be revealed how do you feel? I told you that no secret could be hidden forever but you had the perfect plan,'
