Chapter 76. The Map

Maureen's POV

'I guess your presence means you are back,' Ian said as he sat down beside me on the bench in the pack.

'Yes. Obviously,' I said without looking at him.

'How was the journey? Enjoyable?' Ian asked and I had to turn to look at him.

'Are you being sarcastic? Enjoyable? No, it wasn't in anyway enjoyable,' I said in annoyance. I dropped the rest of the sandwich I was munching on before he arrived on the floor.

'Good to know that you are angry. You will need that anger to propel you henceforth,' Ian said with all seriousness.

'Why will I need anger to propel me? Besides, who will I be getting angry with?' I asked frowning.

'You will find out,' he said before bringing out what looked like a folded paper. He placed it on the space between us and held it down with a finger.

'What is this?' I asked looking from his face to the paper he held between us.

'This is the map that will lead you to Rocha.' 

'Who is Rocha?' I ask
