Chapter 81. Dawn's Worry

Lance's POV

The day after the Alpha's arrival, everyone was busy. We had to supervise a lot of things. There was an influx of pack members from the new pack, and the pack house was filled to the brim.

Dad had explained to me in the morning how the Alpha had divided the people into different sections, with each section having a head.

Irene's brother was overseeing the pack in the absence of dad and the Alpha. He was of Beta blood and he could do it.

'Mara is truly strong you know?' Dominus said. He was standing beside me as we supervised some of the young wolves who were moving dirts away from the training ground. Mara was helping the girls arrange a demarcation on one end of the training ground.

'She is. But I guess we all have our limit to endurance. I nearly wept with the way she broke down the day she killed the Amman's Gamma,' I said as the vivid memory of Mara crying so brokenly came to my mind.
