Maureen's POV

'Ian must have known that I already met Lisa,' I fumed.

'Why are you angry?' Grandma Gina asked.

'He could have just given this to me when we were at Amman's pack and we could have simply headed off to Lisa's pack from there,' I said pacing Grandma Gina's room.

'You need to calm yourself down child. Things are not done that way. If what you told me about Lisa is true then heading off to her pack immediately might not be the best. Her pack would need time to come to terms with the fact that their child was back before you barge in on them,' Grandma Gina reasoned.

I sat down and thought about asking Grandma Gina about Ian. Maybe a part of the prophecy we didn't know talked about him.

'Grandma Gina, was Ian mentioned at all in the prophecy?' I asked.

'The bane keeper was not mentioned at all. The golden wolf kept him a secret that was probably why he had remained safe for this long,' Grandma Gina answered before asking me why I asked the
