Leila’s POV
Because of the incident that occurred between Eunice and me, I talked to her and ask for forgiveness.
“Leila, it’s okay. I have already moved on. And don’t worry, my father will never know what happened to me in Sapphire City,” Eunice asserted with a broad smile. I can’t see any anger because of what happened, so I’m relieved.
But I stayed away from Bradley. After confessing my situation to him, I pleaded and asked for space to think. To do that, I told Bradley to stay away from me, especially when Eunice was around.
“I will grant your wishes, but let me remind you after I stabilize the preparations for the upcoming festival, we will talk,” Bradley thoughtfully responded.
Although I know that, I will not be ready, so I just agreed. So our conversation would not escalate.
Add to my problem is the council went ahead with the ritual for new pack members.
So now I’m here in the backyard, begging my wolf to cooperate.
