Leila’s POV
“Finally!” My eyes were shining as I gazed at the manor-style house in the middle of the wide yard.
This is the first time I have seen the place. That’s why I can’t stop myself from getting excited.
“Nothing changes, except the building behind the manor,” Bradley uttered as he parked the car.
“Perhaps they want to preserve the beautiful scenery of the land, so they did little in here,” I remarked.
I was worried that Bradley might think that my mother didn’t do her job properly.
“My Leila, in five years, a lot should have been done here. Did you know our pack is the laggard with modern facilities?” Bradley retorted, as he turned to me.
“Huh! My mother’s been working so hard for you and your pack! Then here you are, insulting her management?!” I furiously said while holding back the tears.
