Leila’s POV

I woke up, my head aching, the remnants of my conversation with Eunice in Bradley’s room still echoing in my mind.

I gasped as I sluggishly got out of bed. “Leila Aragon, it’s for the best.” As I entered the bathroom, I whispered to myself that everyone would be delighted if Bradley and Eunice got together.

I felt like I was in a heavy fog the night before, a distant memory. Seeing Eunice in Bradley’s room wearing sexy attire while he is lying on his bed makes me furious.

But then I was overcome with a deep pang in my heart. A reminder that I had been the one to deny the bond between Bradley and me and had no right to be jealous.

I took a deep breath before entering the bathroom, repeating to myself. “All you have to do now is go to the doctor and find out what is happening to you.”
