Atticus’s POV

“You promised not to leave my side,” Eryn whines.

“You can lock the door after me when I leave,” I tell her. “I need to wrap up plans with Alpha Triston.”

She crosses her arms and pouts. “Why can’t I come along?”

“Honestly,” I return her attitude. “I don’t like the way he looks at you.”

“That is the reason I am being held captive in this room?” She groans. “Because you are jealous? If I threw a fit every time a woman looked in your direction, you would be hidden away forever.”

“You do throw a fit,” I laugh at her.

“Name one time,” she challenges me.

We both know I am not going to do that. As far as I am concerned, Eryn can do no wrong, and there is no point in pointing out the times she got jealous.
