Chapter 100. Mystic Pack

Eryn’s POV

We pull up to a large building on the outskirts of Johnston City. The armed security outside of the doors makes me uncomfortable. Werewolves shouldn’t carry weapons; we have all the defenses we need within our bodies. Seeing them with machine guns doesn’t sit well with me.

“This is the dumbest shit we have ever done,” Jackson grumbles.

“That is really saying something,” Atticus chuckles. “We have done our fair share of stupid shit.”

Natalie is whimpering in my arms. I bounce her up and down, but I don’t take my eyes off the entrance. I had assumed Emma would be waiting for us out front, but I don’t see her.

“I should go in alone,” I murmur.

“Absolutely the fuck not,” Atticus growls.
