Chapter 28. Class

Eryn’s POV

I am sitting in the front row of the classroom and quickly realizing my mistake. Atticus has been droning on for over an hour about a war between werewolves and lycans that happened at some point in our history.

Cassie kept me up ridiculously late last night, giggling and dry-humping Jackson while I was trying to sleep. She and I are going to have to have a serious conversation about her sex habits when I am in the room.

Lazily, I am resting my head on my hand and doodling on a scrap piece of paper. I am not soaking in anything that Atticus is teaching. I will have to read the textbook later. My eyes begin to grow heavy, and I can feel myself nodding off.

Atticus walks by my desk, but I don’t look up from my doodles. They are the only thing keeping me awake. Suddenly, my arm is knocked out from under me, and I face-plant on the desk. My forehead hits the desk with a loud thud, and the class erupts into laughter.
