Chapter 44. The Demand

Eryn’s POV

My arousal is running down the inside of my legs. I have never wanted anything more than what I want Atticus right now.

I wait for Atticus to respond to my proposal. He hasn’t taken his eyes off mine like he is waiting for me to change my mind, but his arms are still wrapped around me tightly.

His fingers run up and down my spine, and a small moan escapes from my lips. Atticus presses his hands into my back at the sound. Our bare skin is pressed together, and I can feel my nipples harden against his chest.

A soft sound rumbles in his chest, and he gets to his feet. I assume it is a rejection, but Atticus wraps my legs around his waist and carries me back to the cabin. His hands are hooked under my thighs, and his fingers are intensely close to my core.

I wiggle my hips against him as he walks with me in his arms, and it causes him to pick up the pace. He kicks in the cabin door, and it flies off the hinges, landing on the ground.
