Chapter 62. Elder Bernard
Eryn’s POV
I didn’t bring an outfit respectable for a hearing with the Werewolf Council, so Emma let me borrow a dress. It is too tight around the chest, and it itches. I fidget uncomfortably in my seat as I wait for the hearing to begin.
Glancing over my shoulder, I keep waiting for Atticus to be brought in. I haven’t seen him since the incident in Alpha Kristof’s office. I know they have been keeping him in the dungeons.
My father elbows me in the side and nods toward the Council. “Keep your eyes forward,” he tells me.
I let out a huff of disapproval and cross my arms over my chest. I slink down in my seat and glare at the head of the council. He is ancient. His once blue eyes are now milky and white.
