Lucia’s POV

“Welcome home, my beautiful wife,” Lucio stated with sarcasm.

Sometimes we get along very well, but usually we just bicker with each other. Not that I really blame him, but we should at least be friends since we will now be living under the same roof.

The door to his condo opened to reveal a luxurious apartment.

“You live here?” I asked as my eyes scanned every inch of the condo.

“No, I just happen to have the key to some random person’s apartment,” Lucio replied, causing me to roll my eyes at his arrogance. He set my suitcase near the door as I waddled my way into the condo. This big dress was starting to get on my nerves.

Lucio stared at me with amusement as I struggled my way in. “Do you want to change?”

“No, I will just sleep in this puffy dress all night,” I answered sarcastically to give him the taste of his own medicine.
