Chapter 23
Lucia’s POV
The meeting lasted three hours. They made new rules and discussed what they were going to improve. Most were happy. They claimed that it was a high time they were ruled by a youngster. They communicated freely with Ava, telling her their new ideas and stories about the company.
“As much as I did not want to retire or withdraw from being the CEO, I’m now sure that the company is in good hands. With Ava as the leader, it will reach the top, and it seems that all the board members and heads of departments love her,” dad said.
“I know I made the right decision, and after all, I’ll be coming to see what’s going on once a week,” I told him.
“Ooh. That’s good,” he said.
“Yes, if you may excuse me, I have to leave now,” I told him.
“Lucia, you and Lucio are invited for a family dinner on Friday evening. His family will also be present,” he said.
“I’ll think about it, but I cannot guarantee that we’ll come,” I told him and left.
