Astria giggled with delight as she caught sight of a vaguely familiar figure standing next to their car.

“Oh my goodness, is that Angelo?!” Layla exclaimed in surprise. “What on earth is he doing here?”

Astria playfully tapped Layla’s forehead and teased, “Did you hire Angelo as your personal chauffeur or something? He seems so at ease, as if this is a regular occurrence.”

“Hello ladies. It seems like you called for a ride home.” Angelo greeted them with a mischievous grin.

“I’m terribly sorry for disturbing you, Angelo—” Astria began apologizing, but was interrupted by Angelo.

“Don’t worry about it. This sort of thing happens all the time, and honestly, I’ve gotten used to it. Just relax and hop in.”
