Chapter 66. Stay Away From Her
Caliana’s POV
“Oh my God, stop!” I screamed, my voice cracking as terror ripped through me. My hands flew to my mouth, my entire body shaking violently as I stared at the nightmare unfolding in front of me. The guards stood frozen in place, their faces pale with fear, their bodies rigid as if rooted to the ground by some invisible force. None of them dared move.
Fur flew through the air in savage clumps, drifting down like grotesque snow. Blood stained the ground beneath the two massive beasts, dark and thick, soaking into the earth. The sound of claws colliding with flesh, bones breaking, and enraged roars filled the air so completely that it drowned out everything else—including my own heartbeat.
“Do something, please!” I cried desperately, my voice hoarse as I turned to the nearest guard. “Please!”
