Chapter 68. Are You Scared?

Caliana’s POV

I was in the garden, enjoying the cool breeze, and going through the day’s paper when Edward’s intoxicating scent hit me hard and I inhaled.

“I’m your comfort drug, look how calm you are when you inhale my scent,” He smirked. I rolled my eyes, he was so cocky. He outstretched his hand toward me, I took it and we walked towards the falls. We didn’t speak but the silence was comfortable. I grimaced when we reached the spot where we were attacked by vampires. We bypassed it and went closer to the waterfalls, we found a place to sit and after a while, he spoke.

“You wanted to know about Jane Anne?” He asked. My gaze strayed to his face, it was soft and beautiful, without an ounce of anger.

“Yes, but I learned all I need to,”
