Chapter 91. Liar

Edward’s POV

I was mortified. I was fucking ashamed that I lived with a woman for more than a month that wasn’t my real Luna. My heart constricted in my chest and all I wanted to do was scream in rage or break down into darkness, however, I couldn’t right now so I did the best thing I could. I grabbed a bedside lamp and threw it against the wall and it broke into pieces. Soon, the other furniture followed. I sat in the dark room, cursing myself at what I did. My mate probably thinks the worst of me and she should, how can I ever face her after what I did? After the pain, I put her through. I buried my face into my hands, and all emotional strength left me by now. The door soon opened and my brother, Jamal, walked in. He sighed at the sight of my room and got on one knee in front of me.

“It’s not your fault, Edward,” He assured me but I scoffed.

“I was fooled, again, and I don’t know where my mate is, I’m sure she thinks the worst of me. My Caliana hates me,”
