Chapter 53. The Next Order

Cheryl, upset that her threats didn't work on Eve at all, tried to find other ways to get that girl away from Gery. Cheryl couldn't stand by and watch them get closer. She wanted to make Eve ultimately leave Gery's life.

So, that night, Cheryl decided to call Dave again because she wasn't satisfied. She needed more than just that video to make Gery's relationship with Eve end.

"I need more than that, Dave," Cheryl told Dave as she sat with her legs crossed on the sofa. Cheryl's hand stretched out to pour champagne into a glass.

"What else do you want me to do? Didn't you say yesterday that my plan had worked? Gery and Eve's relationship is already broken, isn't it?" Dave replied with a frown on his forehead. With his free hand, Dave lit his cigarette.
