Chapter 56. Cheryl Behind It

Gery slumped in his seat. He wanted to believe that Cheryl didn't have a hand in this, but what was her reason for letting Dave go? This was the first time the man felt so messed up. Moreover, there had yet to be any news from Sofia.

Gery turned on his cell phone again, dialing Cheryl's number, hoping she would pick up and explain, but it was useless. Again, the number was blocked. 

Not giving up, Gery opened Instagram and searched for Cheryl's name and name suffixes related to her career, hoping the woman had another account to be contacted. But there wasn't, only a picture of a poster for a model exhibition in France on November 24th. Gery's eyes opened wide. There was no mistaking it. The poster was a picture of her boyfriend.
