I hurried in the direction of Colter, but Draco got there before I did, grabbing him by the scruff of his neck. Oh, shit!

“Let go of him!” I shouted, my voice cracking halfway through. It was the first time in my life that I could recall ever yelling because of this level of rage, and it caused a thread to break that was holding me back. “Don’t hurt him!”

I leaped on Draco’s back, and I instantly wrapped my arms around his shoulders and punched him in the back. I didn’t care if he realized that my bound chest wasn’t as flat as it appeared.
