Chapter 19. Rebelling at Her Age?

I swallowed up my shame and did everything he said. I ate and rested for about 30 minutes, making sure I left at exactly 30 minutes, a reasonable amount of waiting time before telling the owner of the house that you have to leave.
He took my excuse better than expected and led me on a long path from his bedroom to his front door; he lives in a damn penthouse, of course, so he brought me all the way down to the building lounge, going as far as to call a cab for me.
We waited in silence until we saw the car pull up.
I thanked him and got to the cab, giving the driver my address, and massaged my aching head all the way to my house. I have a wild guess that my headache isn’t just because of this cold; I think I could blame a certain someone for this pain.
