Raphael’s POV

I was skeptical about leaving in a time when Camilla would need me the most but I had to take her word for it. As she said, it was just two days. Soon I’ll be back with her.

I paid a visit to her before I left for my trip that morning. As we took off on the plane, I tried my best not to think of her too much but still kept her at the back of my mind. If I needed to do my work efficiently, I needed to free myself from distractions. Not saying Camilla was a distraction but if I kept her on my mind I wouldn't be able to focus on anything.

After seven hours, we finally landed in Los Angeles, California. We first made our way to the hotel, it was a long flight for all of us.
