Chapter 9

Aaron made a bonfire at the back near the pool since it’s slowly getting cold at night. I made everyone a chocolate lava cake and warm milk.

“Thank you, Athena.” Aaron said and apparently he loves chocolate. Ares loves it, too, he bought almost 10 chocolate bars at the rest area, I guess it runs in the family.

“You’re welcome.” I said.

“This is so good.. the combination..” Kilian said.

“My parents used to make me these when we’re camping, I’m glad that you like it.” I smiled and Ares pulled my chair closer to him.

“Great job, babe.” He said.

We talked about a lot of things. Like work, our dreams, our next goal and even our future. It’s funny to me that Viola always wanted to settle down when Ares don’t even care about his own future.
