Breakfast went smoothly, with Logan and me chatting casually as we enjoyed our meals. However, the memory of the previous night made me shift the conversation to something more personal and delicate.
"Did you sleep well last night?" I asked, watching him as I waited for his response.
Logan confirmed with a smile, but there was something in his eyes that made me question the truth behind his answer. Now that I knew the story between him and Olivia, and considering the turbulent night we had, I knew he was lying.
