I entered the hospital with my heart in my throat, a sense of anguish tightening my chest with every step. Alongside me were Logan and Augusto. Liam had gone to deliver the terrible news to Cecília, something he didn’t want to face but had to. Manuela and Cecília are like sisters, and I can imagine how she will take the news.
My father opted to return home to be with my mother, who was also anxiously waiting for news about Manuela.
