Chapter 76. Decisions

As I exited the bathroom, already clad in one of my more modest pajama sets, my gaze settled on the vast bed before me, while a subtle indecision hung in the air. My face was sore, and the prospect of returning to the floor didn't seem inviting at all. I reflected on the previous night and remembered how it had ended. Even though I had been determined to sleep on the floor and distance myself from Liam, I ended up giving in to his desires once again. Not that those weren't my desires too, I admitted, feeling my cheeks burn with the memory.

With a quick decision, I resolved to occupy the bed, but not without establishing certain conditions. While I didn't oppose sharing the space with Liam, I didn't intend to make things so easy for him. So, I arranged for extra sheets, a comforter, and pillows, meticulously setting them up in the same place they had been the night before. However, this time, I made sure to comfortably occupy Liam's bed.

It might seem like a
