Friends

Priya was sweating profusely. Due to the buzzing of her phone, she opened her eyes. After moments of glancing at the ceiling, she realizes that she is in her room, and it was just a nightmare. “Oh God, what a start of the day, may it end on a better note.”

There was a text from Viren.

No need to come to the office. I have approved two days off for you. Take care and rest. You can resume on Monday.

Viren’s message brought a smile to her face.

“Priya, get up or else you would be late.”

“Ma, Viren Ji has given me a leave of two days. I don’t have to go to the office.”
