Chapter 4. Unwanted Marriage
Stacey's POV
"Hello, Nando? Have you received the money that I wired? Be responsible for spending that money. I'll be back soon," I reminded Nando on a phone call while waiting here in the dressing room. It's my wedding day.
"Yes, ate! Trust me, I'll do everything you instruct me to do. Be careful while you're there, okay?" Nando responded.
"Okay, gotta go. Just keep me posted!" I hung up the call and hid it in my pouch.
Today is my wedding day, so I'm wearing a tube-like white gown with marbles that serve as a design to it. It has a glittering effect. It is also styled like an off-shoulder but with mesh.
I'm wearing simple make-up enough to distinguish my face's features. My beautiful eyes are visible because of the smoky eye effect they did on me. They emphasized my eye makeup because it's unique; it has different colors. I'm sure everyone will ask why I have this and I'm tired of it.
"Look who's here. I thought you don't need my money anymore?" Yul said in a sarcastic tone. He's so irritating! If I just knew earlier who I'm gonna marry, I'd really ignored this offer.
"Whatever. It's not like I know you're my groom," I said with a frustrated look.
"You're talking as if you didn't seduce me that night, huh?" he continued teasing me.
"Of course not, you just got seduced even though I didn't do anything.
"Just enjoy this moment that I'm still kind to you, Stacey. Because I will make sure to make your life feel like hell," he said in a serious tone and then left. I was quite intimidated by his words, but I didn't let him notice it. I don't want him to use it as a reason to control me.
"You don't need to make effort to accomplish that. I'm already living a hell life," I said with a blank face.
"You deserved it, though. I'll just add the fuel to make it more feel like hell. Just wait for it," he said and left my room.
Finally, he let me be alone in peace.
"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you as husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride," said priests. All of the guests of Yul are seemingly happy to see Yul finally get married. They all stood in grace and clapped their hands.
For a while, I was distracted by their reactions. It really feels like a real wedding, with the man of my dreams. The man I love and shared my struggle with.
How I wish it was Cygnus.
Yul held my chin and slowly grab it to make our faces parallel. He smacks it triple times. Yes, THREE times! The whole crowd goes insane. After that, he smiled at me mischievously. He let me think that was a sincere and genuine smile, and I couldn't help but be convinced by it.
What is this man playing?
"I'm not buying it," I said to him after the kiss. I hope he can't read my mind and emotions.
He moved his face a little closer to me and whispered, "Is that so? Then why do I feel the opposite?"
"You have a lot of money but lack intellectual ability. What a shame," I said to him. I saw his hand clenched in anger.
He's about to say something crazy again, but his friends came in and he doesn't have any chance to speak anymore.
"Whoa, man! Can't believe you're a married man today. How about our side chicks? Are you going to become a faithful husband?" said the man with thick eyebrows and tall height. He has gray eyes and a masculine body. His haircut is faded.
"Tss, what do you think of me, of course, I will still entertain our girls. Married or not, I'm still a playboy like before. So no worries, Flint," Yul said with shining eyes. Oh, so that guy named Flint.
I'm still thankful that Yul is a playboy. I'll have tons of reasons not to fall for him. 'Cause come on, let's admit it. We'll be together for several months and for the first time he will enter my cunt, there's still a high possibility of falling in love with him.
But I will not let it happen. Also, I have Cygnus. Although our relationship is not clear, he still proposed to me. And that's also my problem! He didn't know I was married just today.
"Hi, miss! You're eyes were really blinding," said the man who just came in. He has chinky brown eyes, a masculine body, a tall height, and a crew-cut fade haircut. He looks so clean and hunky but feels like a womanizer as well. Does Yul ever have at least one normal friend who just wanted to have one serious relationship? A decent girlfriend?
"HARRY! What are you doing? Really? In front of my new coat? You went straight to that bitch and didn't even think about waving at me? Dude!" Yul said. Oh, so he's Harry. His name suits his physical features; he's hairy. Maybe if we get closer, I'll call him Hairy instead of Harry.
"Hahaha! Why so jealous, bro? I just want to congratulate your wife! She's beautiful and no one is approaching her. Your guests are too shy to make a conversation with her thinking she's like a gold 'cause of her looks," Harry said.
So sick of being beautiful.
"Don't you have a plan on introducing her to us?" Flint asked playfully.
Before he spits any more harmful words in front of his friends, I've decided to walk out of there and go to our wedding car. But Yul held my hand to stop me from going.
I looked at his hands and eyes consecutively with a blank face and said, "What's with that? What game are you playing? Why are you holding my hand?" I asked.
"We'll have a wedding picture. The photographer has been waiting there for quite a while. So come on," he said, then let go of my hand. He went straight to the pulpit where the photographer had been waiting.
Argh! Why do we need to take a wedding picture?
Ahh, I remember, his father wanted it. And we're going to live in their mansion, in his room. This is more suffocating than I thought!
