“Hey, this is not the road to my parents' house. We need to take the other junction.” Becca woke up from her slumber as the car turned onto the direction of the packhouse of Moon Shine. Xena also looked at her mate in surprise, her eyes narrowing in suspicion.

“You will stay in the packhouse,” declared Elyon sternly, his tone brooking no argument.

Both women looked at him in shock.

"No!" they bellowed at the same time.

“Elyon, the deal was that I would be on vacation with my parents. What is this all about? Take me to my parents’ house immediately!” Becca exclaimed, her voice rising in panic and anger. “I have no business in the packhouse; I am no longer a member of this pack!”
