Becca had left.
And with her absence, immediately all the tension in the pack and packhouse vanished. The members who visited the packhouse every day were now more at ease, the entire atmosphere was relieved. My mate also felt freer to mingle with the other members. Only Alex was withdrawn and closed, speaking to everyone with just two words; his mood was below zero.
