The last time I saw them together, they seemed like the best of friends. Well, apparently, friendship can be fleeting as well.

If I had to choose between Moon Shine and Paxton, I'd say living in Paxton was the lesser of two hells. Despite being here with my parents, Elyon's presence loomed over me like a constant pressure. He popped up everywhere, trying to control every aspect of my life, and I truly despised him for it. It amazed me that there was ever a time when I had been head over heels for this jerk.

And on top of that, I observed Xena's intense jealousy when she watched me from a distance. It was clear that there were feelings of envy and resentment consuming her.
