Becca's POV

Zane was so in tune with my emotions, he rolled over onto his side and we found ourselves wrapped in a tight embrace. I snuggled up close and draped one leg possessively over him as we lay intimately intertwined on the sandy beach. Marelva quietly lay behind us.

I must have dozed off for some time, as I was awakened by a droplet that hit my nose. As soon as I opened my eyes, Zane greeted me with a grin on his face

"Hey, Sleeping Beauty, time to go. The sun is now full above our heads and that can be dangerous".

As his face hovered close to mine, our eyes locked onto each other in an intense gaze. Before I realized what was happening, our lips met in a deep kiss that left me breathless.
