Blake’s POV

I don’t know what is happening, but something isn’t right. No matter what we did, these wolves just kept coming without an end. And still, Julian was a no show. I have to end this quickly and make sure that everything is fine. We were fighting these rogues, but they are sure fighting back, and we have lost a lot of warriors. My body is full of wounds that are not healing fast enough. The only thing in my mind is fighting to survive and get back to Brielle.

I kept checking on Kyle just to make sure he didn’t die. I made a promise to myself that I would protect him. He has a family waiting for him. I am sure it is what is fueling him to survive. We have to survive at all costs. It can’t end up like the last time or this life would have been an epic waste of time.
