Sophie's POV

I took the bottle away from Laurent's hand.

"Stop, please stop, you have to stop doing this, you've taken too much it's going to be dangerous" I begged. As the days went by, Laurent grew more distant, i understood why, but then I tried getting things right only to discover how much of a drunkard he was becoming because of me, his eyes were a little bit red, it was a surprise he was still partly sober from the amount he took, specks of being a werewolf I guessed.

What was worst is that he had not even spoke one single word to me since the occurence, he didn't even look me in his eyes, so when he spoke up now I was surprised.

"I felt used... I always feared something like this would happen" he said and swallowed, "I never felt good enough for anything, I should have expected this, I shouldn't feel bad, I knew this was bound to happen, nothing good ever happens to me, but I thought, maybe it would change, i believed in mates, even i
