Chapter 44

Cara's POV

"It's a shame" Vlad whispered to me, "That I cannot feed from you" he said, he looked different, he was hungry, I could see how dark his already black eyes looked, the streaks of golds were gone and this... this was so much scarier, I had never seen him when he was hungry and it was so stupid that I ended up in his room when this happened.

"We made a deal" i said, surprise at how bold my voice sounded, even if I felt the exact opposite.

"I would keep to my deal princess, but you have a job to do"

I inhaled, anything to get me out of here.

"My soldier would lead you to our store house, get me one of them" he said before turning away from me. i didn't fully understand his question, get him one of what?

I didn't care to understand, anything to put some good distance betweeen the two of them, so i hurried out of the room, and just as he said, a soldier waited, I let the soldier guide me to where ever the 'store house' was,
