Cara's POV

The vampires had already been assembled; we were only a pair of thirty, and they were all new borns except the one soldier, the same one I had been yearning to kill, and now that he was coming with us, it won't be as hard of a mission to end them; the only one that would be fun to kill was the soldier. I left my room.

Vlad had promised to fix the door again after destroying it. It was normal now; he didn't seem to be capable of walking past my room door like a normal person would, but again, he was far from normal in all senses.

I walked into Vlad's office, fully dressed.

"Your main purpose is just to have a look at the borders; if it is clear for us to launch the main attack, you are free to have fun, just like the others."

"So plainly stating, I am your sacred lamb, as you and your stepbrother are not coming with us."
