Cara's POV

I heard the door open. I didn't know how long I stared at the mirror, but that snapped me out of it.

I knew it wasn't Rollins; then who could it be?, Teo?

I walked back into my room, and I almost released a sneer, which was unlike me- standing there, was Emmaline. Again.

I should have killed her; nobody would blame me if I did that. I should have ended her there or thrown her into the dungeons for the rest of her life.

"Good day, Luna," she said, the edge in her voice was clear. There was one thing I had successfully done: the smirk on her face was absent, and I couldn't help but smile at that, this was what wining felt like. "I guess you are happy now."

I cut her off. "Before you go on, I want you to know that after this, you will be living the rest of your life in the dungeons."

"You never seemed to get it, do you? Well,  there would be no need for that; I would be living this pack; have fun being the Luna,
