Chapter 75

Cara's POV

I had to drive the rest of the way; Teo wasn't doing so good; his shirt was already socked with blood.

We arrived at Sophie's house; she was outside waiting for us. I walked out and then supported Teo as I led him into the warmth of her house.

"What happened?" she asked the moment we were inside.

"Could we stay the night?" I asked, ignoring her question

"Of course"

"What about Ken?" I asked.

"He traveled two days ago," she said, and I couldn't help but feel better; at least I wouldn't have to deal with that too.

"I need some warm water, a towel, and a first aid kit."

Without any question, she did as I asked. Teo lay on the couch, and I gently tore away his shirt with scissors.

Sophie gasped when she saw his injury, looking away, but her face looked paler. It was only a matter of time before she threw up.
