Chapter 13

The following morning, I woke up with a hangover.

I knocked my feet off the bed and thought of getting a cup of tea from the kitchen.

I got dizzy on my way out.

I took a chance to leave when something compelled me to turn back.

I swiftly made the turn, and I found Yulan sleeping on my bed.

How did this happen?

I held my mouth shut to stop myself from screaming.

I can't remember because I was so drunk.

Fredrick barged in without knocking.

He finds Yulan sleeping on my bed and swerves toward me.

I put my hand forward at the door and asked him to leave. He chuckled and left after notifying us that Mom had something important to tell us.
